Renaissance is pleased to announce the opening of its 16th thrift store at 3237 des Sources Boulevard in Dollard-des-Ormeaux! The non-profit organization is already well established in the West Island of Montreal with its 4 donation centres and 2 bookstores. The opening of a thrift store was eagerly awaited by the residents.

"The opening of our store in Dollard-des-Ormeaux is a great moment for the entire organization. It is the first Renaissance thrift store to open since our opening in Brossard in 2018," said Mr. Éric St-Arnaud, General Manager of Renaissance. " The Galeries des Sources thrift store will strengthen our social mission by welcoming 10 new participants into our professional training program in addition to our 45 employees”. The store will also see the first expression of Renaissance’s new brand image.

Shopping at Renaissance means discovering thousands low-priced and tax-free treasures - from clothing and fashion accessories, to kitchen and home decor items, books and much more. It also means supporting the employment integration program that truly changes the lives of hundreds of people every year. In 2019-2020, Renaissance helped more than 2,300 individuals return to the job market.

Renaissance therefore invites you to visit its new thrift store as of July 2nd. For the upcoming weeks, our opening hours will be:

• Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Wednesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

About Renaissance

Created in 1994, Renaissance is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate the social and professional integration of people experiencing difficulty entering the workforce, while enlisting a commitment to take steps to protect the environment.
At Renaissance, goods are re-used, people are re-integrated and the donations are re-invested in the community. This triple bottom line gives meaning to the work of the organization and makes it a model of sustainable development.
