Since 1984, Moisson Montréal has been collecting food donations and essential products on the island of Montreal and distributing them for free to community organizations. It has thus become the food bank distributing the most food in Canada.

Over the years, a solid partnership has developed between Moisson Montréal and Renaissance.

This partnership helps the participants of Renaissance's integration programs in providing them with emergency food aid. At a crucial moment in their lives, when they are led to follow a 26-week training program, this assures them food security while other organizations in their neighbourhood take over. Thus, for nearly 15 years, Moisson Montréal and Renaissance have been combining their efforts to allow participants in the integration programs to succeed in their training.

For the 2019-2020 fiscal year, Renaissance has received nearly $5,000 worth of non-perishable foods from Moisson Montréal. A big thank you to Moisson Montréal, which greatly contributes to the success of our participants!

To our community,

To limit the spread of Covid-19, Quebec government regulations now states that masks or face coverings are mandatory in all indoor public places in Quebec. This regulation will be effective as of Saturday, July 18.

All Renaissance establishments will therefore ensure that this rule is enforced within their premises. At the entrance of each store, an attendant will have to refuse access to everyone who is not wearing a mask . Employees will also ensure that customers keep their faces covered inside the stores.

This being said, the health and safety of our employees, customers, donors and business partners remains our priority. For this reason, we have reviewed our ways of operating to ensure we offer everyone a safe and healthy environment. We have also implemented all occupational health and safety measures recommended by the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité au travail (CNESST).
