“I grew professionally but also personally.”

Yunia was studying psychology in university in her homeland when she married a Quebecer. When she arrived in Quebec, she began her experience in the workplace working in factories. After two and a half years, she began a francisation program to improve her French. Afterwards, Emploi-Québec suggested she follow the training program at Renaissance. “The training as sales clerk-sorter-cashier at the Saint-Laurent store helped me develop my aptitudes. It is a complete training program that integrates theory with practical experience. My journey through Renaissance completely changed my life. I have become a person who is sure of herself, that knows what she wants, and who knows for certain that she can get there!” In the future, Yunia plans to take night courses to continue on in psychology, while keeping her current job which she likes very much.
