Nicolas has been a Renaissance participant for two months, training as a maintenance worker. He had been unable to find stable employment in the past and was unmotivated. "Thanks to Renaissance, I have stable work that I like and that will provide me with good references for my future job searches. I'm also becoming more independent, I have a normal life, and I feel more relaxed about the future." Nicolas intends to go back to school and to find maintenance work once he has finished the Renaissance program, and in the long term, he would like to get training in construction work.
